SkyWalk1000 Association Unveils the SkyWalk1000 Project (1k Bridge)
In a monumental step towards revolutionizing infrastructure, SkyWalk1000 Association proudly presents the SkyWalk1000 project. This groundbreaking initiative, highlighted in “laRegione,” aims to create a 1000-meter-long pedestrian suspension walkway that not only sets new standards in engineering but also embodies the future of sustainable infrastructure.
Innovative Engineering and Design
The SkyWalk1000 project is the brainchild of architect Filippo Broggini, in collaboration with the Polytechnic University of Lausanne. It features cutting-edge engineering techniques and advanced materials, including a carbon fiber suspension system that ensures both strength and lightness. The design is a testament to modern engineering, showcasing a series of 47 arches that create a visually stunning and structurally sound pathway.
Pioneering Sustainable Infrastructure
ElaraTeq is in touch with the SkyWalk1000 Association to be mandated to help develop and realize the SkyWalk1000 project, integrating sustainability into every aspect of its execution. The walkway is designed to blend seamlessly with the natural landscape of Valle di Lumino, enhancing the environment rather than detracting from it. This focus on sustainability extends to the materials used, the construction methods employed, and the overall impact on the surrounding area.

The project was first presented on June 20th, 2024.
Fractionalized Utilization Through Blockchain
A standout feature of the SkyWalk1000 project is its innovative approach to engagement and utilization. In collaboration with XdRiP Digital Management LLC, The SkyWalk1000 plans to leverage blockchain technology to create digital representations of the walkway. This allows for fractionalized utilization and potentially ownership, enabling a diverse group of participants to engage with and experience the project in new ways. This democratized model not only fosters community involvement but also sets a new standard for transparency and security in infrastructure initiatives.
