Sci Club Pianturina — Showcase site, member management and community

A website that puts 47 years of passion on the slopes

Sci Club Pianturina is a historical Ticino club founded in 1978 in S. Antonino: organized outings, ski and snowboard courses, family activities, tradition and community. They needed an online presence that reflected the club's heritage but felt modern in its execution: easy to consult on the go — because members check it from the chairlift — and simple to update for those running the club in their spare time.

The solution

We developed a custom institutional website on a PHP/Laravel stack, with an admin area designed for non-technical users. The site is structured around the four living areas of the club — outings and activities, memberships and fees, useful documents, sponsors — focused on quick consultation and autonomous content updates by the committee.

Documents always at hand

Statute, insurance policy with QR-bill, seasonal information sheets and membership forms are collected in a dedicated section, accessible in two taps from the mobile menu. Every document is downloadable as PDF and versioned in the CMS, so when the policy or the statute changes the replacement is immediate and no member ends up with the old file.

News, events and community

An editorial publishing system to announce outings, gatherings, races and social moments. News integrates with a direct link to the club's WhatsApp community, which remains the main channel for quick exchanges between members.

Sponsors and visual identity

Sponsors section with visibility-priority ordering, logo and link management directly from the CMS, recognition of long-standing supporters. Technical SEO carefully crafted — schema.org SportsOrganization markup, hreflang, dynamic sitemap, optimized WebP assets — designed to help the club be found by people searching for skiing activities in Ticino, not only by those who already know the site.
