Behind every website that works there is daily work that rarely gets noticed: updates, checks, backups. That is why ElaraTeq has a service dedicated to ongoing site management, ORBIT, and a mascot that goes with it. Let us introduce both.
Who is Orbit
Orbit is the official ElaraTeq mascot: a small chibi-style astronaut, curious, competent and reassuring. Curious because it looks at every technical detail, competent because it knows the work behind it, reassuring because its job is to make anyone who writes to us feel in good hands.
Orbit is also the face of the ElaraTeq secretariat, the one that writes to our clients. When you receive a message from us, the tone is Orbit's: clear, orderly, no frills.
We chose an astronaut because a website is a bit like a station in orbit: it only works if someone checks its systems regularly. Orbit stands for this attitude of continuous care, which for us comes before any special effect.
What the ORBIT service does
ORBIT is the name of our website maintenance and management packages. The exact scope depends on the service level agreed in the contract. In general, the service covers:
- Updates: site components and dependencies kept up to date.
- Technical support: requests and interventions handled with priorities consistent with the chosen level.
- Backups: safety copies so that we can restart if something goes wrong.
- Performance and security: technical checks, essential monitoring and security interventions.
How it works
We start with a conversation: we understand how the site is built and how much continuity it needs. Then we propose the most suitable service level, which is put in writing in the contract together with what it includes. Requests arrive by email, phone or client portal.
The contract states the limits of the service: included hours that are not used are not carried over to the following period. We prefer to say so explicitly, so that everyone knows what to expect.
Work beyond what the chosen level provides is agreed before it is carried out. If the needs of the site grow, we tell you and propose an adjustment, without applying it on our own initiative.
